Birthday Perk - Free Cupcake - Sort of.

After grocery shopping, we stopped by Sprinkles to pick up my free birthday cupcake perk. Since I was already waiting in line (it took a little while since Sprinkles is popular here) and, for my early birthday I decided to also purchase another cupcake in lieu of a cake tomorrow. 
I selected a Coconut Cupcake & Peanut Butter Chocolate Cupcake.
My fiancé and I shared the coconut cupcake after lunch and we will share the peanut butter chocolate cupcake after dinner shortly. This will be my cheat treat for my birthday!
What kind of dessert do you like to eat for your birthday?

I'm picky so there are only a few things I eat. but they almost always contain chocolate.
I would not say no to BROWNIES, Chocolate Cake (w/chocolate frosting), or maybe some Boston Cream Pie.
those would be my favorite "special" deserts.. I wouldn't mind some Chocolate Ice Cream either.. but since I eat that at home all the time.. it isn't as SPECIAL... :)
your desserts looked good - well the chocolate one did... not a fan of coconut myself.. but those look like good sized cupcakes!

@infatuatedbby oh you have to try Boston Cream pie.. it's delicious.
it is really a yellow cake with Custard/Creme filling in between 2 layers and then covered with a Delicious Chocolate Frosting...
I generally don't eat things with custard or creme.. but I love this

Oh yes Brownies & Chocolate Cake sounds delicious. I have never tried Boston Cream Pie before, how does that taste?
Thank you! I love the coconut with chocolate but this one was not the chocolate..... but I have started enjoying cupcakes.

Crepes are tasty too! I had a really good one at a restaurant and it was their special ~ not sure what was in it but there was hazel nut & pistachios! It was delicious!

Sounds good to me. I remember growing up in the States and their were places when you went on your birthday you got a free thing. Do they still do that Michelle? I had a craving the other day for cupcakes and found I had one left in the freezer. I love them, but, for my birthday I have cake.

Last month on my birthday, I ate icecream together with my moist, chocolate cake. I usually get a slice of the chocolate cake nearby and they are awesome! But of course prior to my birthday I already ate my usual banana cupcake with cream cheese frosting.

@infatuatedbby Its kinda like it but better I guess. I like it because its not too sweet unlike the other cupcakes.

i like them both although, to be honest, i thought they were munchkins or donut holes rolled in coconut flakes and chocolate sprinkles. it's nice that you share it and didn't eat both in one sitting. i would like both cake and ice cream on my birthday.
