Deadlock In Cosby Case

Jurors are unable to come to an agreement in the Cosby case. Of course his lawyer and spokesman say that this proves his innocence. My big question on this is: If the sex was consensual why did Cosby feel a need to give her the blue pills?

Good Question! I honestly am not sure what to think of this. I grew up watching the Cosby Show and as such don't want the allegations to be true.. but at the same time, if they are, he needs to be punished for them.

I was literally sick when I heard this in the beginning and am getting more and more disgusting as it goes on. I cannot for one minute believe that 50 women are lying about this.

@celticeagle I agree. I can imagine a few women getting together to lie but fifty is outrageous. I haven't followed the trial so I wasn't aware it had gotten that big! I just hope it is resolved soon.

sounds like a case for retrial - not for throwing the case out

I hope they do and find him guilty. I can sort of see both sides.

@celticeagle a complete trial would give closure even if he is found innocent - the limbo world of miistrial leaves too much permanent doubt

It's a good thing I'm not a juror, I don't consider him innocent. i always liked him but when I heard about what he did, I was shocked.

They had to move the trial out of that area hoping to get a fairer jury

I have not been able to follow the trial and I don´t think I will. Anyway it is all a pity as I loved the Bill Cosby show. I don´t think we´ll ever know the exact truth.

I hate to burst your bubble but a lot of celebrities who go on trial are acquitted since they have connections with the underworld and a jury of their peers seldom have the courage to find them guilty of committing a crime.

@celticeagle Cosby is an iconic celebrity that will likely be given a pass from the jury in Pennsylvania.
