~Storm, Dinner & Babysitting~

Hey everyone. I hope your having a good evening. I enjoyed watching the storm that came through a little bit ago. I love the storms we get.
We had hot dogs and beans for dinner. I have been wanting that for a few days so it was so good.
Babysitting has been really good. The kids I'm watching are 6 and 8. They get along well with our kids so that's good. They are all having a good time. They had a dance contest, sang, played monopoly, went outside for a bit before the storm came, and had ice cream! =) Soon they are going to lay down to watch a movie before they get picked up at 9:30.

Awesome! Glad they're around your childrens ages and get along with the kids well. That makes babysitting so much easier!

@Courtlynn Yes it went really well. The 6 year old boy cried when his mom came because he didn't want to leave! =( I'm glad they had such a good time.

We had delicious Mexican food for dinner. It's been a while and it was sure good. Have been on here a while. I watched a very sad movie and cried like a baby.

@LovingMyBabies ......You just said a mouthful there. That is for sure. I think I watch some movies that I watch just for that very reason.

@celticeagle I'm glad your dinner was good too. =) I cry when I watch sad movies too, it's nice sometimes to cry over someone else's life instead of our own.

I recall the days when I took a few kids in to help out financially. There were times when I had 10 kids running around our apartment. They all got along well and I was thankful for that.
Three of the children were my nephew and nieces. The other 3 were children of my friends. And of course there were my own 4 children.
On rainy days they would sit inside and play. But when the sun was out they were outside running about and having a great time.

@Elusivebutterfly Yeah where we used to live I was able to babysit a lot more kids at a time, but here legally I'm only allowed to have one family besides my own. It's okay though, we definitely had fun last night! =)

My days are boring in a way right now, but it is so good to read your post. Sometimes, when I was babysitting, more kids actually meant less work, when they were of the right ages and temperments.

It's rainy season here in our place and this is the best time of the year for me coz I don't like summer much.
I wish we have little kids at home too, but, my kids are still young for marriage

Our day was busy today going to relax and play our game soon. Sounds like fun had by all there as well. I had ice cream today at chinese buffet mint chocolate chip it was yummy.

Hot dogs and beans are always good. Glad the babysitting is going well. We are expecting rain for the weekend but no significant storms. I do enjoy a good thunder storm every once and awhile

My day was fine really. I took it easy all morning while it rained, then did some shopping this afternoon at the birdseed store where I used to work for my feathered friends and for us at the grocery store.
