I had two cats and one dog before. I think animals have dreams. I remember when they were sleeping, sometimes they made some sounds and sometimes they were chewing as if they were having food. That's very cute.

All warm-blooded animals are dreaming, birds included. My previous cat was often hunting or fighting during his dreams and was giving scratches in the air.

@prashu228 I have not read any book, but there are a lot scientific studies about that since about 20 years. Here a link to one of these studies, done by the MIT. It is usually admitted that cold-blooded animals do not dream, but there are some recent researches questioning that.
Study may advance understanding of human learning and memory.

Perhaps it also shows warm-blooded are smarter.

I'm sure they do. I love a dog or cat running in their sleep, making those little yipping noises and moving their legs, lol. I haven't noticed my birds seeming to have dreams, but I sure have noticed it in dogs and cats I've had.

It seems my dogs had excited dreams than my cats as my cats usually slept quietly.

I think they do dream. At times they growl in their sleep.

I think most of their dreams may concern about eating and playing

Yes I do think dogs at least have dreams. Harleys tail will wag when she is sleeping or she will move her legs like she is running. It is all very cute.

I believe they do. My dog Jasper will be whimpering and move his legs while he is sleeping. I assume he is dreaming about running.

It is cute. I think animals have dreams. Molly, our pup, sure looks like she is dreaming when she makes little sounds and her legs start moving while she sleeps.

When I watch my Sophie sleep she looks so peaceful and I wonder if she is dreaming about something nice.

I think so too. Animals had a dream. I saw my uncle's dog, when it sleeps, there's one time the dog moves its leg and then stop. Hahah, so cute.
