Hot, Humid and Rainy

It's been such a long since I have been on myLot and I have missed all of you so much. We have had a lot going on with both my brother and I and I just haven't had the free time to get on here until today. I will explain more later.
So, we are doing pretty good right now. Both Daisy and Bella are well also. Daisy has really grown and will be 2 years old the 21st of this month. It is so hard to believe we have had her this long. Some of you may remember when we got her when she was only 8 weeks old. Bella is starting to show her age which pulls at my heart. She is 9 years old and her face is slowly starting to turn white and she has slowed down a bit over the last couple of years. She will still play with Daisy but she does lay around more now than she used to.
Today is a cloudy day and it looks like rain. As some of you know, I love the rain so I will be happy. I am hoping it will cool off some as we have had some really high humidity which is not normal for this time of year here.
So, how have you all been doing while I have been away? I am now off to start reading posts and get up to date. I hope everyone has a great Sunday!

Doing okay welcome back Sharon.
Its a nice day here, got to do some chores, but all in all a day of rest.

It was worth looking at your activity, Tiara, which I do from time to time, but I don't always respond to your responses, lol. I've checked back at Sharon's' page from time to time, but I'm sure I would have missed this had I not seen your comment.

its fathers day and not having much father stuff going on here we are just trying to survive the heat. it really is hot here the past week 87 to 91 degrees out side and therefore pretty hot inside. humidity is off the scales. bad, glad you are back and okay. sad when our fur babies age. coco was 14 yrs and don't know what to do without her. i miss her like a human.

Yes, it really is sad when our fur babies age. I feel like my two are like my children and it will just break my heart when Bella goes. She came into my life when I really needed her...she sort of saved my life and we have a very special bond.

Nice to see you're back. I know you can't be on all the time but this was longer than usual.
It has been a strange June here as well. May and the beginning of June were really humid for this area and we actually got rain a few times which for this area is not usual. Now it's it the 100s in the afternoons but relatively cool in the mornings which is not common at all. Wasn't Las Vegas like that too?
I know it's hard to watch Bella age but try to think of how good she has it with you guys, she's been a very lucky pup. Those two pups are so well loved.

It's been rainy here this weekend too. Yesterday it rained three or four times with some sunshine in between the first three. Finally, we can get relief from watering and it's nice it did help to start my new seeds growing. Unfortunately, now my grass is a bit longer than it should be and it it rains most of the week it may be difficult to get it mowed.
I had knee surgery in February and have been back to my cashiering job for less than a month, but it seems like six months already. I'm not here a lot right now either, but I try to come by every few days to catch up on my notifications. I've been trying to be here more from the tenth or fifteenth of the month to the end to reach payout, but haven't done so well since the first month I worked it that way.

I bet it can be hard to cut the grass when it rains so much. I'm sorry to hear that you had surgery but hope that you are doing okay. I probably won't be on here as much as I was before but I will at least try to be here every other day at least.

Thank you! We are doing okay although we did find out that my brother has some health issues. I really dreaded seeing the white show up on Bella's face because I couldn't be in denial anymore about her getting older. But, we are going to enjoy these years and hope she lives a long time.
