For those of you who remember the Beatles (not just "read about the Beatles"), Sir Paul McCartney turns 75 today (6/18). Yeah, that'll make you feel old. James Paul McCartney was born June 18, 1942 in Liverpool. That was one of the few things he's done in obscurity in his life. From the time he was 20 until today he has been making music that's made the world sit up and take notice. First with the Beatles, then with his own band, Wings, and as a solo artist, McCartney has been loved by millions for over half a century. Happy birthday, Sir Paul!! Maybe not the best McCartney song ever, but definitely the best video, as Paul impersonates people ranging from himself to Buddy Holly to Ron Mael (watching the Mael impersonation is worth the price of admission!):
Paul McCartney - Coming Up-Lyrics YOU WANT A LOVE TO LAST FOREVER , ONE THAT WILL NEVER FADE AWAY. I WANT TO HELP YOU WITH YOUR PROBLEM, STICK AROUND, I SAY....

I wasn't even born yet when the Beatles reigned supreme! But I still enjoy their music, like so many millions of people around the world! Isn't it amazing that Sir Paul looks like he hasn't aged in decades? I wonder what his secret is?

I've always been a George fan. Did you know Paul did a cameo in the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie?

No, I didn't. I remember his cameo in the Tracey Ullman video "They Don't Know."
Tracey Ullman's great cover of the Kirsty MacColl song features a cameo from Paul McCartney. Download the Best of Tracey Ullman album on iTunes : http://appl...

I remember the first time the Beatles were on tv in the states. It was on the Ed Sullivan Show and my mom and dad and sister and I were in the tv room watching a very small screen tv with the magnifying glass in front of it.
