I have started to do some things to prepare for my vacations starting July 2nd.
Today I checked my meds and went to buy all I will need during those 15 days and then some.
I went to the Bank to add some dollars to my credit card. That´s how much I will allow myself to lose at the casino, buy some souvenirs and invite my family for a dinner out.
Finally I went to make the last buys at the supermarket before my departure.
Claudia made me laugh. She is taking some cans of food instead of the lots of toys that the children did not use last year at the beach. She will also take the kids favorite powder to make drinks. I told her that in that case I should take with me a bottle of wine
So, as you can see, all of us are preparing in some way or other. I bet Sofía is getting together her Polly Pockets.

That´s the way I pack. In fact. the only important things are my meds. All the rest can be bought in small amounts if necessary.

I'm actually having a short weekend vacation trip with my in laws to the beach next weekend and I'm already figuring it in my head what I need to bring. But most importantly I actually need to go out and find myself a bathing suit. A month ago, i used my old one and oh boy did I feel awkward. So im pretty much getting a one piece so that I wont check my bathing suit ever so often. Anyway, I just make sure I get my waterproof pouch for my phone so I can take pictures of the kids while swimming or at the beach. But other than that I usually have the necessities but more for the kids

@sublime03 It is hard for me to find the bathing suit of my dreams. When I find them I buy them no matter what the price.

@marguicha Why don't you? I think whe should buy one every other year since they have more versatile styles nowadays. Can't wait to get one so I can enjoy walking around the beach without having that feeling that everybody is looking.

@LadyDuck Thank you. I´ll buy mosquito repellent for everyone as soon as we get there. Do you think that they can have it at a supermarket?

@marguicha I have seen them in Aruba when we went there. You should check this page, there is a warning about Zika virus due to mosquitoes in Aruba.
Local transmission of Zika virus infection (Zika) has been reported. Local transmission means that mosquitoes in the area have been infected with Zika virus, spreading it to people.
