Iwrite? Apparently Not!

So last night I decided to join Iwrite.com. Seemed simple enough really, and I thought I'd give it a go. I haven't had a chance to write anything though. There idea of no classification system is okay, but it doesn't work in everyone's favor. I've been awake for several hours and there hasn't been one article I could do. It is either a client in need of French writers, German Writers, or a client who only wants particular writers. Iwrite? Apparently not. There are OTHER sites where you must submit an article / sample. Perhaps I'll try one of them. Perhaps Not. I could use the extra money though.

Surprised you haven't as I heard about it here on mylot. The website is probably the best for those whose first language isn't English. They still require a good command of the language, but it appears as if most of the standard (first tier) requested articles are for other languages. I like to write, but not "commercially". Still, I need the money and so might give another site a try.

@ScribbledAdNauseum - If I've seen anything about it on here, I don't remember. I'm totally drawing a blank.

Many sites don't seem to be too user-friendly now @ScribbledAdNauseum Have you joined CrowdTap?

myLot is the only place I have found so far that works well for me at all. Most of these other sites either have crazy requirements or are just scams. myLot actually pays and even though it isn't a lot it is still enjoyable to come on here and talk to people.

I have been for soo many years. Around 2008 I think. It is the site that has worked best for me. I just got an email reply back from iwrite.com and they referred me to the following text on their website: "The English 101 quiz is required for all writers choosing to write on the iWriter platform. You must achieve a 14 out of 15 to receive a passing grade. If you do not pass, unfortunately there are no second chances and you will need to look elsewhere for work. Thank you." The thing is, that I was only uncertain of ONE or TWO questions... The email also suggested I take a look at the knowledgebase... Well I certainly won't be after that rude response! I wonder about their grammar backgrounds as the questions were all pretty straight forward and as I said, I was only uncertain of a couple of my responses.

@ScribbledAdNauseum That doesn't sound like a good website at all. Definitely aren't very friendly.

Same here. I quit Iwrite due to lack of suitable assignments. I'm earning more in mylot than in their site.
