Heat wave all over the nation, thats what. Had a fun conversation with a regular library patron earlier. We started talking about the heat wave and got on the subject of which heat is worse, humid heat, or dry heat? We came to the conclusion that while heat is well, heat no matter where you are, and that as humans we can adapt to anything. So what say you, which is worse to you?

Hi hot stuff! We've been having a heatwave over here too. It's been so hot that I've even contemplated taking my string vest off.

Una delle canzoni più belle dei mitici anni '80. Un'altra Hit che non tramonterà mai!

Humid Heat is worse for me, as just makes me wilt. Today I'm staying indoors, as to hot outside.

I'll bet, im staying indoors today for at least part of the day. Supposed to cool down a bit later after 5 though, so I may take that badly needed walk :)

It's the humidity! I hate to sweat, and the humidity zaps your energy and makes you feel awful even if the temp isn't that high.

I think heat in general zaps your energy, just too hot to move regardless

I prefer humid heat that dry heat. I can breathe if it is in a heat wave situation.

The dry heat feels like an oven, can't go outside without feeling like your face is gonna burst into flames like Ghost Rider.....

@librarygeek1980 Hahaha I can't imagine the heat. It is better to stay at home during the daytime.

@Shavkat agreed, it is better to just stay home during the heat of the day. Less chance of heat exhaustion

For me the humidity is what makes the heat unbearable for me.

I think humidity makes it feel hotter.
