Generally I don't mind waiting. I can read a little or find a small task to do. But I think I know what you mean. When someone comes to do work on our house, like when we got the new flooring done, I could not settle to any task while he worked in our house all day.

I mostly get frustrated when something does not happen at the time specified.

@allknowing Precisely. When I feel that it's taking so long, it will make me mad and I don't want to be mad because that stresses me a lot. So, I will get busy just to keep my mind from waiting.

@allknowing that encompasses many thingies, hon. i've all the patience'n the world when't comes to critters, there trainin'. not so much with schtuff which involves humans.

There are many places where we are required to wait. You are right that if we are waiting for something, we just cannot indulge ourselves in some other task.

I guess it depends what you are waiting for. If you are waiting in for a parcel delivery and waste all day waiting and waiting for it to arrive it is pretty annoying. I usually try to remember the saying all good things comes to those who wait!

Usually I give time to wait; 30minutes, 40 minutes. I will left after one hour
