Change In My Routine

Remember when I said recently that I needed a change in my routine? Welp, I got it lol. As some of you may remember, my Mom and I used to babysit my best friend’s almost four-year-old son. She put him in daycare to get him around more kids his age, but it didn’t work out (it’s not my place to share why), so she asked if we could start watching him again (until he starts actual school). We started today, which is the reason why I said I needed to go to bed and get up at a more decent time. I know it’s going to get stressful at times. There are times where I may already be swamped with work, or he may get sassy as kids do, and it’s going to take my body a bit to get used to a different schedule… but I’m choosing to look at the brighter spots. - He loves us, and we love him. He enjoys coming here and we watched him for so long, we know what he does and doesn’t like, etc. - It puts me back on a routine. He plays in the living room and I work in the living room, so I CAN manage to get in shorter orders while he’s playing or watching TV. I just need to STICK to a routine once he does start school. - I’m not even going to lie, I could use the extra money right now. So yeah, this could be the change in my routine I’ve needed (even if this “change” is really going back into the routine I had last year). If I stick to my routine once he starts school, then maybe I won’t wind up in a slump again. Alrighty, it’s back to work I go!
