I Have An Idea,But....

Last night was a sleepless night for me.Although I was tired, had no worries or stress, don't know why sleep remained elusive. Now it is 7.45 a.m.in the morning and I want to start a discussion.I have a good idea, but I don't know how to start a discussion with it. Have you ever found yourself in such a situation?Despite having a good idea have you ever found yourself clueless as to how to how to present it impressively in the form of a good discussion?

Yes it happens at times. And it takes me a long time to think about the right words. And also to find the perfect picture

@Nawsheen, LOL!! For as many as 5 days I have been struggling to initiate a discussion with the idea, but in vain.I am feeling as if I have run out of words. You understand it well as you have undergone this situation.

@hereandthere That's great.Unlike you I lack ideas. And if an idea hits my mind I immediately try to initiate a discussion with it.

@HAPPSINGH I don't get sad.Instead,I take it as a challenge of sorts.

If I have an idea then I won't face any problem to make it as a discussion. But at times, I left blank totally. In that case I won't start any discussions. How are you? Not seeing you around?

@Sreekala Perhaps that's what we call writers' block. My problem is more complicated than yours. Most often I lack ideas, and if any idea comes to my mind,I sometimes find myself clueless as to how to present it in the form of a discussion.

Don't worry as you are not the only one feeling this way. I have a notebook full of good ideas but somehow can't find the right words to get a post going. I am not a writer and that could be the reason.

@marlina LOL!! I agree. This happens with all of us.I'm not a writer either.Sometimes my mind goes blank when it comes to start a discussion about the idea lying in my mind.

I come up with ideas all the time, but few of them end up on paper. Part of the problems is that I think faster than I can type... Have a nice day.

Yes, of course it happened to me often times. Just start and let your thinking govern your fingers on the computer. It will form into sentences of what you want to discuss.

@thelme55 That's a great strategy, but my problem is that English is not my mother tongue. While starting a discussion I have to see whether I'm making any grammatical errors. But yes,I can successfully follow this strategy while writing something in my mother tongue. I'm not perfect in English, can't think in this language. Hope, you got it.

@else34 yes, I got you. English is not my mother language either. I speak at home in German and it is only when I blog or here in Mylot I speak in English. I think my mind is used to switching into 4 languages in a day that's why it is easy for me. Anyway, you are doing good and practice makes us perfect. I hope

If I have an idea, I write it down. I do not find myself clueless about writing a discussion.

No such issues. I have many topics and the problem is I want to have time and enjoy my effort too. I manage to sleep well too; maybe I don't take life seriously. Do what I can and just leave it at that - siva

@Bodyandbrain Exactly.Yes,it happens, but you know how irritating it is.On the one hand, you are so curious to share your idea with others, and on the other, you are absolutely clueless as to how to express it impressively.I can express it in Hindi, but in English....it's a problem.

I am right now facing the same problem, I don't know why it happens but it does and when it happens all that remains in the mind is to how to start a discussion. I wonder how those beautiful authors write big books when we even can't write a discussion.
23 Jun 17
Yes, it takes much of my times and effort, try to write something that relates to me or others. Sometimes you may have the ideas but then words don't come right the way. You need to write and re-write it again. But the fact is, sometimes you don't get any responses or feedback. This is the worst and demoralizing fact of writing.

Exactly. That's exactly what I have been doing for last five days.Every time I tried to write down a discussion,I end up rejecting what I write.Words don't come to my mind. It's so irritating, isn't it?

Yes I too have felt the same thing..At present I am feeling the same thing..I know what to start but don't know how to present it..
