First Hit for Carole King

Before Carole King became a fantastic and popular singer she was a terrific songwriter. Years ago once she had graduated from college King married Gerry Goffin and they both worked for Don Kirshner. Kirshner was an American music publisher, producer for rock music, a talented manager and songwriter. King was very successful in writing songs that became hits for other singers. Her first hit song was “Will You Love Me Tomorrow” sung by The Shirelles and soon she was on a roll. Many other hits followed until finally after ten years King fulfilled her dream of combining her songwriting talent with singing. On June 19, 1971 she had her first double-sided hit “It’s Too Late and “I Feel the Earth Move”. King became popular and introduced everyone to her great voice on her album Tapestry. She was on her way to becoming a very successful solo performer. How many Carole King fans are out there? http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/carole-king-has-her-first-1-hit-as-a-performer

She is a Very talented musician, and it is a shame there are still not more out there this talented. Makes me wonder how come some people are never found now out there like her. Personally her name is a legend in it's own right and someone I enjoy still listening too.
