Chicken And Dumplings For DInner

This morning my husband called me and let me know that we were having company over for dinner. He also let me now that the person coming over had a special request. He requested Chicken and Dumplings. I agreed to it right away. I enjoy his company and think he is a great person. We haven't seen him in a while and to tell the truth I was planning on surprising my husband with this dish tonight anyway. Isn't it ironic that it worked out that way? Can't wait for dinner.

It sounds very attractive but the dumplings don't look like the dumplings here. But I think they are also very delicious. I feel hungry to see this picture

It is drop dumplings. My husband prefers them to the rolled dumplings. It was delicious.

Goodness is that the dish that you made? You just made me crave for chicken and dumplings! The weather here turned a bit cooler and it's a bit gloomy out - perfect for a soupy comfort food.
