Surprise! I am still a member

It was a surprise to find out that I can still log into an old writing site. The last time I did anything there was in April 2015. My profile, articles and posts are still in tact as is the amount in my bank that I accumulated while there.
I can't recall why I stopped writing there. Could be there were rumors of a shut down or they had stopped paying. From reading one post, it seems like the rumors of a shut down are still swirling. There don't seem to be a lot of active members there.
Anyway I stayed awhile and re-acquainted myself with the rules and read and commented on some posts. Maybe I will visit again more often just to read and comment.
Have you ever returned somewhere after a long absence and felt like you never left?

I keep my passwords in a safe place even though they say it isn't a good idea. I would never remember if I didn't as there are way too many of them.

@Freelanzer It is funny in my case, I often tried to write it down somewhere, but then I couldn't remember where I left the file or the book.

I'm a member of numerous money earning sites. Some I'm active with, others not so much. With some of the sites, I'll log back in for a while and everything's still the same.

Seems most of these sites don't care if one is active or not even though some say they will deactivate your account after a certain period

@Freelanzer That's true. Although, I'm not certain if the sites I'm a member with will deactivate an account due to inactivity.

I did the same thing recently. Visited an old site. Still there and my bank is still there too. I will have to work on it a bit and then I can cash out.

Yes, some local haunts here by me, but not with sites. I have only been on two sites and one of them went out with an ugly whimper @Freelanzer . Good you were able to enjoy that other site again

Anything is possible as I have seen so many sites shut down in the last few years. That is why I don't put all my eggs in one basket.

Yep, in one of my translation sites. Lucky enough that my account wasn't declared inactive by the Admin.
