Today is a beautiful day. Ok, maybe it's hot, humid, and a bit overcast but it is still a beautiful day in my mind. I have a semi busy day ahead of me today. My sister-in-law is coming over for the day. She will be cutting my hair. She does such a beautiful job that I don't let anyone else near my head. Afterwards we will be taking her out to lunch at the Hen House. It's our new favorite place to eat. No matter what you order it is delicious. This afternoon after lunch we will be stopping to wander around a couple of thrift stores. I loved when I can poke around all that stuff. So, for me this will be a sort of busy, get out of the house, type of day. As I said, it's a beautiful day. I will be out there smiling and enjoying my little excursion. Keep smiling myLotters and enjoy your day to the fullest. What are your plans?

Sounds like a nice day. We have a place here that is called The Pantry that is like you describe the Hen House as being. Good food. Home grown too.

I plan to be here and take breaks to do a few things in the yard and house, it's gonna be a nice day today, only up to 95 and maybe we'll get a shower later. Sure beats 111.

It showered sometime overnight @HazySue so I missed it. That's ok, at least my trees got water and I don't have to pay for it.

Only 95? That's a terrible temp. However, it is less that 111. I hope you get the shower and it cools it down for you.

We had a picnic near the lake and it was very pleasant. The day is still very hot and right now I am resting at home. My Mom asked when I go to see her because she wants that I cut her hair. My husband cannot go out move with this heat, I have to wait.

Sounds like you have it made - getting out and enjoying the beautiful weather as well as shopping and doing it with people you love - can't be better than that. My plans for today - more housework as I get ready for the inspection next week and working on my book.

It really was a nice day.. It was exhausting but fun. Once you get that deep cleaning done you won't have to do it again for a while.
