No visitors today.my daughter had to work today. My son and daughter in law are having their baby shower today which makes me sad. I told my fiance to stay home to give him a break from here. I haven't eaten for two days because as soon as I take a bite I gag. Getting pretty fed up.

Oh Laurel, reading this makes my heart sad. Hugs from the heart to you my friend. I wished that they could move your surgery date up. In the meantime, keep your chin up, I'm sure that its hard with feeling like you do. But remember, you HAVE to be healthy before the baby arrives, okay?

I know now from your other post that you will have surgery tomorrow instead of Tuesday. That's good as the sooner the better. Thinking of you!

Did you let the doctor know about you not being able to eat? Considering all things it is really tough. But hang on.

I was sensing this Laurel, you seemed a bit down, not surprising. Have they given you a reason why you are not able to eat? That surely cannot be good. I know you will fast before surgery but...

I hope someone stops by soon. I know what it's like to go a day or more without visitors. For me that's usually the case.

I am hopeful that you will feel better after your surgery. I know it is not easy. I had heart surgery when I was young. I guess I wasn't scared the way an adult would be though.

I am sorry that this is so hard for you. A day with no visitors is no fun, I'm sure. Is the hospital staff doing anything about the lack of any appetite?

I wish your gag goes away quickly, meditation and yoga helps a lot cause once you control the breath you can control the gags too. I helped a friend getting over her morning gags by practicing Pranayama ( breathing practices of yoga). cheer up :-) laugh and things will be fine... oh and dance too ;) !

You shall eat something before. As you can't have food some time before the surgery. You need the energy to cope with the surgery and it will be better for you to get well soon. As you as you recover sooner, then you can catch up with many good things as soon as possible
