Depressed? Anxiety? Stress? Same here.

How do you deal? I have a combination of meds, supplements and counseling that have really helped. I've recently divorced, moved, and I'm self employed. My business has taken a hit as the depression and anxiety took hold, and I'm trying to build new habits to accomplish small goals that add up. Let's see if we can give each other a little support here. What works for you?

That's good to hear that your fighting depression. I kind of experienced depression before when I lost my first baby. Everything just seemed to have stopped for me. I didn't want to work, I just sleep all the time, I didn't want to be with my family....but like you, I still tried to fight it. Because at the back of my mind I know no one can help me but myself. I have to choose life. On my part, I tried to fight it by makin myself busy with things I love most to do. Started with music. Just one thing is enough for your first attempts to live hahaha. I tried to write songs about how sad I was. Then just tried to live day by day. It will be hard at the beginning, but I tell you, practice makes perfect. For now Just take one step at a time, but you have to make a choice to live your life.

@Gwynivar Im ok now. I have 2 kids already. And by experience also learned that time heal all wounds so just keep on living day by day.

I am very sorry about your divorce. I suffer from anxiety and depression I take meds daily for this however sometimes they do not help. Small tasks are the way to go and counseling you are on the right path of healing. I take long walks in time you will feel better I am praying for you.

Time is the greatest healer , having said that I know it is not easy to overcome a stressful situation in life. I have been through a lot of stress and I realised that only I could help myself by remaining positive . I used to do self analysis and some meditation which really helped me to identify my own short comings and work on them..

Sorry to hear about your divorce. Things I can think of that can help you are to build up your self esteem and stay positive. I know it's hard but even when you keep yourself busy and your self esteem is low, you will always feel depressed...
