Have you ever had a chance to meet local or foreign celebrity in your country? Many years ago, I had a chance to meet a Singapore male celebrity in Malaysia because he had retired from media entertainment. He had decided to devote himself into monastery, to become a monk in my country. Some of his fans had purposely dine in a vegetarian restaurant in order to catch a glimpse of him. However, he refused to take any photos or entertain his fans. This I could understand because he had pledged himself to be devoted to God. I think fans should respect the celebrity decision and let him live peacefully as a normal person. By the way, I didn`t expect him to be so tall when he passed by me at the walking path. Have you ever met a celebrity by chance, not in purpose?

Well, I have never met a celebrity in person. However, I did see one of our once top cricket players- Kapil Dev in a BBC Talk show in 1999- when I got a pass to that Program's recording- courtesy a friend. I could see him talking, and taking questions.

you are doing the right thing. If everyone could treat them as any normal pedestrian , I guess more celebrities would feel happier

i think seeing someone like him, who underwent such a different lifestyle, would have more impact than seeing celebrities in their usual getups, and i agree, people should respect and accept him as he is now. is this the actor you're referring to?
SINGAPORE - Former actor Xie Shaoguang seems to have returned to secular life and is now back to working as a chef at a cafe in Johor Bahru. In 2013, he was ordained as a monk after studying Buddhism in Malaysia for eight years. According to staff at Three

My late sister and I went to New York. If you're ever going to see celebrities, you will see see them in New York City. We would be riding on a city bus or walking down a street and every time I tried to point out somebody that I saw to my sister, it was like they disappeared. I saw them. But she didn't. She told me I was seeing things. I wasn't!!! We used to watch soap operas. I can't remember the name of the actress. It's been a long time. I was on the elevator in the hotel and the actress got in the elevator and stood right next to me. I was so surprised I couldn't say anything! Where was my sister? She decided she didn't want to leave the hotel room. She'd rather watch television. I gave up trying to point out the celebrities to her.
