The Bluebird of Happiness is Visiting Me

This is my bluebird of happiness for the day. Have you ever been happy just because ....... well, just because you are alive and kicking? I am having one of those days where it seems as though nothing can go wrong. Hang on folks, days like this don't happen all the time. I feel alive, awake, joyful, and pleased with life. I am not exactly sure way but I am thrilled that I do. Yesterday I finally took care of a problem I have been running around dealing with for sometime. It feels like a load has been lifted from my shoulders. Today I am doing what I want to do. I will be reading and writing and relaxing. Again it will be a really, really good day. How are all of you fine folks doing out there in myLot land? I hope you each have a positively marvelous day.

I had to meet with the hospice nurse who visits my mom first thing this morning and I didn't feel well when I returned. I am having a bit of an off day but tomorrow I am shooting for bluebird of happiness.

It's a good idea. I think I will do some research on the Underground quilts and their meanings during the civil war. It's an interesting subject and I would like to use it for a book.

So that's why you're having a happy day. You took care of a problem that was holding you back. I often procrastinate when I'd feel better taking care of a problem immediately. It's a lesson hard to learn.
