The Haunted Forest Tour : A book Recommendation

I know I seem to be spewing out these book recommendations more than I am discussing anything else or even commenting on my responders. I am going to try to get around to commenting on my other responders soon. I had to recommend this one before I did anything else though. The book I just read was described by others as being like jurassic park but with ghouls and other such monsters. I have to agree, that's the best way to describe it. It sound cheesy, I know. I still recommend those who are a fan of thriller type novels to try this one out. It's going to be one of those books that gets your heart pumping. Five or Six Hours is what kindle had as how long the book takes to read. I would say that is about right. I've been reading it off and on since yesterday.

I don't particularly care for horror stories at this time. I used to love them and couldn't get enough.

I go through phases like that. Not just with horror but any genre. I'll read a bunch of historical fiction and then get tired of it, time travel fiction and tired of it, then just general romance fiction and again, tired of it. This one isn't exactly horror in the sense that there are "jump scares." It's almost like an alternate universe. There are terrible things that happen to people, and there is a bit of detail / graphic detail, but I still don't want to call it horror.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I think I go through phases. Right now I'm liking Louise Penny and Tammi Hoage. I loved Behind Closed Doors by BA. Paris.

I hope you enjoy it, if you get the chance to read it. I think I might start putting links to the books from goodreads. Goodreads gives you options to find the book at amazon, barnes and noble as well as a few other stores.

Sound like something I should not read at bedtime. Has it been made into a movie? It seems I have heard that title.

I could not tell you whether it has or not. I wouldn't be surprised if it hadn't though. It's not particularly scary, just a bit horrifying. If that makes sense at all.
