When a writer has lost track or just cant' think of anything sometimes it's good to get ideas from other people even the bad stuff is better than nothing, to get the ball rolling. We all have good days and bad days trying to think of something to write about. Have a cup of coffee, take a walk or a nap, in any case, you'll find some words to jot down sooner or later. Sometimes what we often call writer's block is actually a simple case of depression. And there is a fix for this. Take a break, get out and have some fun. When you finally get your second spark of enthusiasm you will be ready to write fresh and new things. We all need down time. I know I sure do. http://threepennyeditor.com/2015/04/writers-block-and-depression/

I can always think of one thing to write about each day.

I think you could use this idea. Take a blank pages hard back book you can get in most dollar stores, and use it to place by your bed on the end table or night stand, with a pen or pencil next to it. When you get up to start your day, grab that book and take it to your breakfast table when you have a bite of food or morning coffee or tea, then when an idea strikes, you will be ready to jot down your thoughts for your next post.

Yes, we all have those days. So, I don't force myself when that happens. I just keep interacting.

It's all about balance.
Writer's block is fear itself. But take heart, we lose nothing we learn along our journey toward being a better writer.

I get writer's block from time to time. It's quite annoying and I find it difficult to overcome.

Yep. And some people, myself in particular, suffer often from reader's block. If a book seems boring to me I will eventually read it but I can only stand one hour a day with it.

I don't start a post on regular basis,so hardly have the problem with writer's block.I think your fix for that is very good,"retreat in order to advance".

Treadmill methods seldom work well. Doing something just because it needs doing is sometimes a headache. But when I find too much stress going on I have to walk away and regroup my thoughts, I take a walk, usually to clear my head. That is my therapy.

I have some episodes of being like this. I sometimes walk around the city and can get some ideas from it.

I once tried carrying along one of my many micro cassette recorders, that use 'AA' batteries, usually 2 alkaline types, and pluck in a 60 minute micro cassette tape and as I walk I think of things to write but instead of write I speak it out and record it on cassette. The thing I like to do is sit in the car when my wife is shopping and sip on cold iced tea, listen to my latest recorded ideas on cassette through my earbuds. This allows me to close my eyes and get a mental image of my ideas and better focus on them. It is just one idea to share.
