I guess so but many of us are vegetarians and vegans. Fast food is not healthy, that's for sure. I try to stay away from such food. I am rather appalled by what is considered 'normal' to eat in the United States. My menu includes brown rice and sometimes tofu and for sure many kinds of beans, including lentils. What do you eat?

@Courtlynn ah thanks for the tip. Here we also eat and don't eat pork according to preferences. I personally don't eat pork. I also like beef burgers but I think I prefer chicken burgers. Ah when I decide to go visit the US I wana try tacos

I think there was a time in our past where hamburgers were a main signature dish for Americans, but so much has changed over time. We are a country of such mixed races/ethnicities/cultures that it's hard to say if we even have a main signature dish anymore. But in the summertime, when barbecues, cookouts and picnics are popular with Americans, hot dogs and hamburgers seem to be the popular choice for cooking on the grill.
From all the fast food places we have in the U.S. you might think so, but Americans try all different foods. My favorite is seafood dishes, not signature but yummy I like my hamburgers also, but enjoy pizza even more. Sometimes you got to live a little, how much chicken, turkey, and fish can one consume without adding a little "spice" to one's tummy
