Sometimes, a piece of cinematography, a clip from a movie, one that makes little sense whatsoever, can have the audience rolling in the aisles with laughter. This clip, from perhaps one of the most famous comedy teams to have written for and acted on the big, or the small, screen, has brought fits of giggles into the dialogue that's happening on-screen as well - all used to bwilliant effect, don't you know?
Just one of many brilliant scenes from the epic comedy Life of Brian by Monty Python. All rights belong to Monty Python.

@pgntwo Priceless, timeless and so juvenile - just the way I like my humour.

I'll have to watch it later. I don't think I'm supposed to download too much while we're travelling and Vince isn't here to ask at the moment.

@arthurchappell The PC crowd have ruined such shows, whilst at the same time making many comedy acts rely on personal insults for their "laughs".

It is a hilarious clip - and there are many other such moments. Eight scenes from this film alone made it into a list of the 25 best Python quotes, including that one:
The funniest quotes from Life of Brian, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Meaning of Life and the Pythons' mould-breaking sketch show

Hmmm... and that caused people to giggle? I wonder why? (I feel sorry for the wife of Biggus Dickus... I would suppose she left quite a few stains in life.)

It's been an exceedingly long time since I watched this. I should watch it again now film older and more worldly-wise. I think I'd appreciate it more now.

Base humour assumes a base frame of mind...
