Talking Peanut Butter Cookies...

Made a batch of peanut butter cookies and the cookie jar is half empty... I have had one of them. As I only indulge on weekends, I'm hoping that there will be some left for me. They did turn out pretty good. I want to make Snickerdoodles next time, but it comes down to a vote lol. No one else is overly keen on the flavor... and I love them. Which side of the fence are you sitting on... yeah... I love them or no... can't stand them. Okay, I will throw one more in... they are okay but I would rather have a different cookie if I had a choice!!

I do make snickerdoodles as the family loves them but I love peanut butter.

Snickerdoodles have a unique taste because one of the ingredients is cream of tartar. I guess you either love them or... not so much lol!

I never cared for peanut butter cookies. I will go for chocolate chip all day and night.

I have a feeling that is what the rest of the family is going to ask for when we run out of the peanut butter cookies... lol Still think that Snickerdoodles are even better lol.

Think sugar cookie with cinnamon and cream of tartar. It is definitely a unique flavor. Not sure if it is a German cookie or not? Must look that up!!

I think that it is like a sugar cookie with a pinch of cinnamon and a pinch of cream of tartar. It definitely has a unique flavor I have to admit. I think that you would love it Alfredo... ;)

I haven't had a peanut butter in a long time.. I notice everyone makes the same marks with the cookies

I have no idea what the reason is now that you mention it. I know 2 different ways... with the fork or a ball of peanut butter dough flattened with a sugared glass. I asked before they went into the oven and hubby and darling daughter said to go with the fork!

I make a good gluten free peanut butter cookie with just one cup of peanut butter, one egg, and one cup of sugar. Really don't care for Snickerdoodles, but my fave is chocolate chip cookies with pecans. Yum!

Actually, that recipe sounds awfully familiar... but not the one I used this time. I do love the three ingredient recipe though!! I guess that I won't be adopting you into the family if you don't like Snickerdoodles lol... but pecans in the chocolate chip cookie dough... that does sound tempting!!!

i love, love peanut butter cookies, even more than chocolate chip..I just love peanut butter period!
