Wonder If You Could Live Without Phones And Computers?

That is such a controversial question. Sometimes I love sitting in front of my computer for hours, and other times I know that I must stop and do something else Computers can be so time consuming too! I enjoy creating graphic art on it but woe betide if it goes down in the middle of a project. Phones are handy especially in emergency situations. Are you tied to technology?

Of course we all can literally live without phones and computers but life would be easier and more fun if we make it a part of our lives everyday. I'm with my laptop most time of the day.

If I had to I probably could live without both but I certainly won't choose to do so. I rather enjoy all the technology which makes life so much more interesting.

@dianadee not only that but being able to see someone while talking on the phone is amazing. Don't you wonder where technology is going since we're already so advanced?

All these gimmicks have come to me so late in life that I know there was life before them. And, surprise, surprise, it was worth living.

Life can be wonderful without all these gadgets. At least you can sit down with a friend and enjoy a cup of tea and have a meaningful conversation without texting!

@dianadee Indeed! I can even go by train for some time, look out of the window, read a book or talk to my neighbour without telling someone at home in a loud voice or texting where I am at a given moment.

@MALUSE That is what I like the best! Not letting everyone in the world what toothpaste I used and how many times my bowel moved in the week!

I am not but since I do a lot of stuff online like writing and selling I do spend a lot of tie on the computer. I however, can easily not go online for a day and won't miss anything. I only talk on the phone out of necessity so I can go days without it.

I remember very well the times we had no computer and cellphones and, in my memory, we were perfectly happy. Yes, I could live without tech gadgets.

I lived without a computer for 73 years, so no doubt I could do it again, but phones are pretty essential I think.

Rather bizarrely, even though I have spent 30 years working in the technology industry, I am a real technophobe. Gadgets and gizmos leave me cold. Give me a long walk in the hills or a good book any day of the week.

Since I am of a certain age having lived much of my life without, I can easily return to a world without today's technology which has caused more headaches and negative issues than society will admit.

Tied? oh i'm so tied to technology. It's not because its a trend for many years, but because its part of me. I finished a degree really connected to technologies and i guess i loved it. ^_^

The life of technology does not last longer. The world has been reduced to the welfare of the technology. For which now our technology does not take a moment.
