I went to fill up my car this morning and I heard this lady kept saying something... I wasn't sure if she was talking to someone in the car or to the person standing next to her. Then I saw that she was talking on the phone. Is it safe to talk on the phone when you are filling up the car? I remember it used to be a No No. Do you think it is safe to use your mobile phone when you are in a petrol station?

To tell you the truth I believe anyone talking on their phones in public have no sense to pay attention where they are going. They stop and stand in the spot in the middle of the sidewalk and do not move because they have to check their phone. I have also heard people talking and wondered who they were talking to and saw they were on the phone. I think they need to concentrate on what they are doing when filling up their car with gas instead of talking on the phone.

@atoz1to10 TT, I remember when I was trying to sleep at 12:30 am one time when I lived in the place I lived in before moving here and I heard someone talking so loud. He was talking on my phone outside my bedroom window at that time. I said something and he did not like it. He never really liked me anyway and after that he really did not like me. I do not understand that people do not get it at that time they should be quiet and not talk loudly or make so much noise at that time. There are other people in this world and they do not care.

I have heard it is not safe. I think I remember reading someone's cell phone exploded when someone was holding it and pumping gas and the person was injured.

I think people these days don't really care much any more. They only begin to care when it happens to them or someone they know.

It is boldly written on Petrol pumps that one should not use his mobile while at the Petrol pump/Station. I wonder why people ignore such important warnings.

Yes, it is said to be dangerous when you use your phone while your car is being filled up at a Petrol station. But some people can just be so stubborn. They will learn their lesson too late when something bad happens with them doing that.
