Some Attempts...

I have met so many talented poets online and some of them have encouraged me to try a bit of poetry or rhymes or well something along those lines. So here goes some attempts. They could be awful, so I say pardon if they leave you feeling dazed.
I've made a new friend
he is so delightful
He makes life seem
a little less frightful
It is not romantic no
weak in the knees
No birds and the bees
if you please
Becky was a mess
to this she could attest
They had warned her to
stay off that camel
And as her face met
the sand her bravado
Vanished quick a pity
she did not have a
genie upon to wish
The first is about how I am not romantically inclined. The second is about having a desert adventure and what is a desert adventure without a genie? A bit of Alladin.

Back when i was writing on bubblews, i was writing so much that I was back to writing a lot of poetry. it was good for me. i used to love to write poetry. but now i'm not writing much, period, let alone poetry. though i have found myself attempting a few lines of poetry to use in my yoga classes here and there... mostly about nature.
