Wildlife at Church

I clean a church on Saturdays for a little extra cash. You would not believe how much the animal kingdom wants to get in.
When I get there, the chickens are on the front stoop and the sidewalk in the back. I shoo them away from the door and slip inside.
The first thing I find is a frog sitting in a toilet. It looks at me with its froggy eyes. I say, 'not happening,' and walk away pretending I don't see it.
I hear a noise in the wastebasket. A lizard is trapped there. I take it outside and deposit it in a grassy area. It is immediately attacked by a bigger lizard. I shoosh it away. When I come back later, the big lizard is sitting all puffed up and I hope the smaller one took his chance to escape.
I go back inside. The frog is now on the floor and I spend time catching it to take it outside. I hear a racket. A cat is at the door. That sets off a long petting marathon.
I finally get done and want to go home. The chickens are lined up in the driveway like bowling pins. They dare me to run them over. After many toots of the horn and 3 foot stop and gos, I leave and wonder what the animal kingdom has in store for next week.

@CookieMonster46 I was so happy that he hopped out by himself. It was easier to catch him that way. I wanted to make sure he got outside to start eating bugs.

Hmmm... I must be missing the problem here, Jo Ann
I do understand about not wanting to "fish" the frog out of the toilet, but am wondering if you washed him and your hands after you picked him up from the floor? After all, he didn't climb into the sink and rinse the poo water off himself, did he?
I am not sure if the lizard thanked you properly for "releasing" him outside only for him to be eaten by another lizard... although the bigger lizard was probably very happy with you after feeding him!
You didn't happen to notice if the cat ate one of the chickens while you were there, did you? (grinning and teasing you!)

@akalinus I am always happy to "stumble" across you, Jo Ann!
Oh! So the cat may have gotten one, whether you noticed it or not! LOL!

@DaddyEvil She does not seem like the type. Probably too messy.

Haha! At least you can't say cleaning the church is boring!
