Still waiting for the washing machine to do its thing. I am very impatient right now and want to transfer the clothes to the dryer.
Getting late here and I want to fold the laundry before dinner time.
I should have started earlier but kept postponing it.
My own fault.

We have to do laundry today, but we have to go to the laundromat...fun. lol. At least having clean clothes is worth it!

Waiting for the washer to finish seems like forever when you have other things to do. I postponed my laundry altogether today

At least you aren't using a washboard by a creek.

I wish our dryer was working so I didn't have to hang everything on clothes racks and hangers throughout the house to dry. LOL.

@marlina one we get the wiring done we can use it. Have to run a line and make a new outlet. That requires an electrician. Money is tight.

@ElusiveButterfly I know how electrians are expensive. We need to call one soon for some work too.

Evidently, a watched washing machine is like a watched pot, slower to boil or finish.

Reminded me of the time I waited for two hours for a dryer to finish with that giant load of laundry. I kept waiting for it to finish, then checked, then turned it on again, and again... (We were on holiday at the time, that rental place had a washing machine + dryer for us to use.)

sometimes things seem to go slower...when we're in a hurry... which makes waiting even harder....
