Little Miss made sure I didn't sleep late again. LOL. I was up at 6:15. Hubby is still sleeping. She has tried to get her grampy up and running, but he is not one to get up early.
Have to venture to the grocery store this morning. I was going to get the shopping done yesterday, but the pending storm and the fact the stores were mobbed kept me from it. It was the first of the month and a holiday weekend. No way was I going into that zoo.
Hoping to get the hubby motivated so we can go to the lake today. I would love to take our boat out for a little bit and do some fishing. I'll have to bring a blanket, our lazy chairs, some toys, a towel or two, and a picnic lunch. Forgot how much you need to bring when you have a 2 year-old in tow.
It is supposed to be mostly cloudy today, but the temperature will be in the 80's and no rain!! So, I'll need to pack bug spray and sunscreen. Good day for the lake.

We didn't get to take the boat out. Forgot about having to go to my great-nephew's birthday party. It was a good time though. Enjoyed being outside in the fresh air in the company of family and friends.

Everyone always says stores are busy on the 1st.. they aren't here. Here theres no specific day they're busy.

Had a party to go to so the boat didn't get launched. Hopefully we will get a nice day to take it out this week.

We had to go to a party yesterday for my great-nephew. My husband also helped my brother with repairs on his truck. So we will have to wait on the boat for a bit. Oh well. We did have a good time with family and friends. The weather was glorious.

Many of the stores and shops are open here. Some smaller stores choose to take Sunday off and are open the remaining days of the week.
The weather was great yesterday and would have been a good day to take the boat out on the lake. However, I had forgotten about my great-nephew's birthday party that we were invited to. We went and had a great time!
