I went to work with Adrain one day. He works on the garbage truck. I went to where they dispose of all the trash. Men had shovels and gloves sorting it out. I thought how terrible that was for disposable items to be in there. Not to mention I was sick to my stomuch. Any way I bought reusable personal items. I was talking to my mom tonight and mentioned how I had them hanging across my drying bar. she never knew they exsisted. She said what do they look like. I sent her a picture. she thinks they are so cute. When she was young they had rags on the line. My aide used my bathroom today and when she came out I asked her if she had ever seen those before. She started laughing saying she wondered what they were. She said they looked like what she thought it was. We both were laughing. It's been a lot of savings for me not using the other ones. I don't have company over so it is ok to hang them. once I close the curtian the rod is hidden. Have you seen these before?

No. When I was young and had just started and was at my grandmothers she made me pads made from clean and stripped sheets. Then the rags were washed and reused. I was sure glad to get the pads. Glad I don't have to worry about that stuff anymore. Wish my poor daughter would get over hers too.

I am not sure if I am going to be over mine anytime soon. But it's much better since I don't buy these products anymore. I find more ways to save.

@sharon6345 .....That's good. I always had a very heavy flow and lots of clotting and cramps. I was miserable. Had to use pads.
