"You're looking live..." - Brent Musberger.
And while you aren't exactly looking live, you are looking at my vantage point, from right outside our apartment, at Manitou's annual 4th of July fireworks show.
Colorado Springs does it right, with the local symphony playing live in the park as the fireworks are shot off. Since I live in Manitou, however, I'll gladly forego that symphonic display to be able to catch a great show right outside my front door.

@teamfreak16 Not hassling with crowds has to be good. We're in Lourdes at the moment and intending to go to the candlelight processions this evening. It has struck us that there could be pickpockets about and also what a great opportunity for a terrorist attack. Tonight wouldn't have any more risk than any other night of course but we'll be watching out for big trucks. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

Oh, I did. You don't get the symphony like down in Colorado Springs, but you don't have to hassle with the crowd up here.

The is the best way, enjoyable, do not have to worry about getting in trouble, as long as you have the right and good company. Saves a lot of money and strife with to many people packed in one spot. Happy 4th buddy.

We went to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio to watch their fireworks last night. I was going to take some video, but left my phone in the car and didn't feel like walking all the way back to get it once I noticed I'd forgotten it. They set off fireworks to a soundtrack of several patriotic and pop songs that play over the loud speakers. The finale is set to the 1812 Overture, but the fireworks are so fast and furious at that point that you cannot hear any of the song other than the opening melodies! Great show!
