It's closing in on 10:30 p.m. here and Angel has already turned off my computer once by lying on the power strip, so I figure I'd better get to bed before she does it again.
The fireworks are still going on. Sure enough, the folks one street over are doing illegal ones -- so they're loud. 
Jeez--that last one they did sounded like a bomb going off, and now someone's car alarm is going off ! Not a clue why people want to do that illegal stuff and possibly maim themselves. 
Tomorrow I need to do more yard work.
I need to turn this computer off before Angel does again.

Not all fireworks are illegal here -- just certain ones.

No idea why people do either. Sadly i dont think tonight will be the last of the fireworks either. Night

Yeah, it seems like there's always some left over. Hopefully the people who do their own fireworks display over on the next street from us are out of theirs.

Oh I can't stand the illegal ones, sounds like there's a bomb being tossed into the air, scares the you know what outta me haha.... I like the sparkly part of fireworks, and not so much the noise. My daughter is so tired she is sleeping through it all

Me neither. Stick with the sparklers and the "safe and sane" whatever else. There's people over on the next street that do the kind like at a regular display -- and I'm pretty darn sure they don't have a permit to do it !
