Do You Know Carol Wayne's Claim To Fame? The television and movie actress of the 60's and 70's had guest spots on many shows such as "I Spy, Bewitched, and I Dream of Jeannie. " She was a fixture also on game shows such as Hollywood Squares and Celebrity Sweepstakes. In the 70's she appeared on Love American Style and The Red Skeleton Show. Wayne's biggest success though came when she appeared on The Johnny Carson Show, Art Fern's Tea Time Movie Sketches between 1971-1984. She played the role of the ditzy buxom Matinee Lady, who looked clueless as Johnny would make comments filled with sexual double entendres. Very tame stuff by today's comedians, but hilariously funny! Sadly, Miss Wayne died of mysterious circumstances while vacationing in Mexico. Following an argument with her companion she decided to take a stroll on the beach. Her body was found in a shallow bay by fisherman in the area. Source: Bio info Wikapedia

Mysterious deaths are so strange and sad. I hope the autopsy can shed some light on what happened.

It was one of those deaths where unfortunately no answers were discovered.

Did not! She was an actress/TV personality. Like a Kathy Griffin wannabe but in my opinion much funnier. A Johnny Carson favorite back in the day...Her voice was as funny as Phyllis Diller's laugh!
