Many of us like travelling to different places in our own country and as well as many of us want to visit foreign countries, as there are n number of places to explore in this world. Many of the mylotters have already visited different countries and places during their life time. There may be some like me who has yet to visit a foreign country, however, many options are on my wish-list. I would like to visit US, France, Spain, UK, Switzerland and Italy besides Australia, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia as when an opportunity arises and it is convenient to visit. All the above countries are on my wish list. I wanted those of you to share their wish list, who wish to travel to different places, either in their own country or a foreign country. Venice is fascinating place, I would also like to visit. Egypt has historical values and is also an interesting place to visit, however, the political situation remains volatile over there. Greece is an ancient country, therefore, it naturally attracts us. New Zealand is also a good choice.

Have you not visited even a single North Eastern State so far? I have not heard about Machu Picchu. I understand that it is an citadel set high in the Andes Mountains in Peru. It sounds an interesting place to me. Seychelles is understandably is an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean, off East Africa. I think it would be a fascinating place to visit.

As we mostly do local traveling, I would say anything outside this half of our state would be on our wish list . I would be happy to have the opportunity to go anywhere. I will say as a family, at the top of the list would be Japan and Scotland as the kids have a family line that stems from those countries (for Hubby and I too of course). But really we seriously would go anywhere . . . close your eyes and put your finger somewhere on a world map - yes, I would go there .

I can understand that you have not got much opportunities to travel abroad due to one reasons or the other but if opportunity arises, your first preference would be Scotland and then Japan. Is India not on your wish list?

@shshiju Kullu and Manali are safer places to visit. Jammu & Kashmir are not so places to visit because there is always unrest in Srinagar and surrounding areas. If you have not seen Taj Mahal in Agra, you must visit once. It is worth visiting.

I can understand that you have visited neighboring countries and all these countries are worth visiting, specially for those who live in Asia. Japan, Paris and Rome are the countries/cities which fascinate everyone and these are also on my wish list. I understand that South Korea is also a beautiful country, however, I have not heard /read that tourists prefer to go to South Korea, at least from India.

Thailand is also one of the fascinating countries in Asia, though I may add here that weather remains hot and humid through out the year. Japan is also a lovely place to make a visit. You have not mentioned about India?

@LadyDuck Let me tell you that it is not hot through out the year in India. In North and Central India, weather in the months of October to March remains pleasant and one could visit India during these months. Yes, it is true that many tourists places remain crowded during the season and there is noise pollution at some places.

I don't make a list because I live in the moment. I don't make any choices in terms of places which I would want to visit. It would be as if to tell which drop filled the ocean. (Not my words, but someone's who was wise enough to understand that all things hold equal importance). So no particular list actually

I intended to ask for a wish list not for any other list. If you feel that you do not even want to prepare a wish list indicating which particular places you would like to visit in future, it is fine. It is good to live in the present moment but sill we human beings make plans and wish to go to some places.

@shikharava The question was not about your satisfaction with life or not. You could have a wish list. If you do not want to make a wish list and still wish to travel to different places of the world, do you decide randomly or on the spur of the moment?

@dpk262006 Oh I want to go there that is why I included the "and many many many more places" to the end of the sentence. The only way I will be able to is to get my schooling done and start saving up. I will actually probably be able to go to Germany with my boyfriend since the company he works for is originally located in Germany or right outside of it and they eventually send all of their workers their to learn how that plant runs.
