50 Days Alcohol Free!

West Haven, Connecticut
July 6, 2017 9:36am CST
Today is my 50th day without any type of alcohol or liquor consumption and I feel great! I wouldnt consider myself to be an alcoholic but I was developing a habit of having beers everyday after work and drinking on weekends just for fun and its been going on for a while. I decided for my own good and families interest to completely stop drinking and using my time and money for better and more resourceful things. I can literally see the change in my body, mind, and especially my pockets! Now im drinking Lemon water everyday, just about 2 liters of water and I dont get headaches anymore and I dont feel drained. I was also very moody due to the alcohol and I would rely on a beer or a drink to knock the edge off and stress when in reality I was feeding my habit. 50 days later I feel young again, free, and with alot more energy and positive vibes! I plan on staying sober and becoming more active as I continue on this path to overall health and sobreity!

Very well done! It makes no sense to take something that harms you, when there are better alternatives around, even if you feel like you have no real addiction. Glad you're feeling better now, too.

Congratulations! That is a big accomplishment and hey at least you caught it before it got worse. Those are the signs of having an addiction and building up a tolerance. I am glad you are feeling and doing a lot better.
