Frugal Food: Thursday night dinner.

Tuna fish won out, because it's hot and I didn't want to work over the stove for any amount of time. So here's the breakdown of tonight's meal: -2 cans of tuna $1.25 -Mayo, mustard, relish $0.75 -Loaf of white bread $1.35 So dinner for two, for $3.35. Pretty good to me. Does that pass your test @JohnRoberts?

We haven't had bread in the house for months and months. I actually bought it last weekend because I wanted a tuna sandwich. Still haven't used it for that yet. I made avocado toast with it this morning, though, which was delicious!

@thislittlepennyearns some 12 grain thing. All bread pretty much sucks so I just got something that was super whole grain. I still is not compliant with my diet so I won't eat much of it. I still will have a tuna sandwich next week though!

:) It was pretty good too. I already have tomorrow's dinner planned- ill have to add it up to see if it's as cheap as tonights. I don't think it will be.
