We Have a Deserter!
July 8, 2017 2:31pm CST
Molly has stuffed toys she insists remain in our fenced backyard. Molly calls her stuffed toys her "babies." Yesterday, I gathered all scattered "babies" to do a head count. We have a deserter! Mama Hedgehog is nowhere to be found. Mama Hedgehog may have had an argument with Papa Hedgehog, and Mama Hedgehog left the area to teach him a lesson. Perhaps Baby Hedgehog had been quite naughty of late, and Mama Hedgehog had enough of that bad behavior. It could be that Mama Hedgehog was freaked out by Purple Puppy. Molly ripped off Purple Puppy's head quite a while ago, and I must say having to view a headless Purple Puppy day in and day out would get on anyone's nerves. I do hope Mama Hedgehog returns because Baby Hedgehog misses his mother.

I checked everywhere for Mama Hedgehog, but she is long gone. Well, Molly, her babies, and their adventures may make for a good children's book. I will not write a book about headless Purple Puppy since that would be a bit too violent for most kids.

Ask Molly maybe she is playing a game hiding her toys from each other. A rousing game of Stuffed animal hide and seek is happening, and Mama Hedgehog is "it" and had to hide, and nobody found her yet. Or maybe Mama Hedgehog doesn; know the game ended and is still hiding! Maybe the group doesn't realize she wasn't around!

@Corbin5 I no longer have dogs but my daughter that I live with does. I guess I can say they are mine too since I help. One is a very large great dane named Bruce. I still say he is more of a Marmaduke. the other is Hannah, a mix terrier and sheep dog rescue.
