Good Sunday morning to everyone! I have been really busy and have not been on here in a little over a week, maybe longer. I don't like it but life does get in the way sometimes. I knew I probably wouldn't be on myLot as much as I was before but didn't think it would be this long. My apologies. I'm sitting here browsing on myLot and eating cantaloupe. Daisy is begging for a piece. I have never seen a dog that loves veggies so much. She will beg by sitting up on her hind legs and then bark. (We are careful not to give her any food that is toxic to dogs.) Her all time favorite veggie is cucumber. She just can't get enough. Bella has no desire to eat many veggies but will sometimes when she sees Daisy eating some. She seems to like bell peppers sometimes. I don't have a lot to do today except help my brother clean. With the both of us, it doesn't take long. I have good news though, I was finally approved to get a 4th injection in my back for 7/13. Since it worked so well last time, I am really looking forward to it as my feet, legs and back are hurting again. I hope everyone has a great day today and I am hoping you are enjoying a little cooler weather like we are right now.

That is unusual dogs don't usually crave veggies or fruits. Welcome back. I am glad you will be able to get your injections now.

It's very hot here today but we are supposed to get storms later which might cool things down. I hope you enjoy your day! =)

@simone10 No I wasn't able to get it all done. Yesterday I was busy all day. Today I am on my fourth load. The washer stopped and I need to get it hung on the line. I am tired and achy all over. I can feel the rain coming. The closer it gets the worse I feel.

That's true. The next day after I posted this, it was hot and humid again...just miserable. Today it is cooler again.

I know some dogs that will eat any kind of table food if they can get it. That is cute yours loves veggies which is good as it is healthy. Hope this next injection works out for you like the others did. Hope you had a great Sunday.

@simone10 It is cute though. Whenever my mom's dog knows we are cooking she will come right into the kitchen and sniff around and jump up on my mom's lap until we give her some food. We don't always give her table food though as some of it is not good for dogs. If she is good while we ate we would give her a treat after.

Bella will eat regular table scraps if we gave them to her but we don't. When it comes to veggies, she won't eat them. Daisy will beg and jump and bark when we are cutting up veggies.

My first pup loved cantaloupes and pumpkin but Ally has no interest at all, she's strictly a meat and bones kinda pup. She does like eggs though so I think I'll make an omelet this morning and share it with her.

Ally is the first dog I've had that doesn't eat carrots, pumpkin or melons @simone10 all my other dogs before her loved them. Now I'm hungry, I have just enough eggs left to make us a nice omelet.

I've never given Daisy pumpkin as I heard it can cause diarrhea but she will eat cantaloupes. About once a month I make scrambled eggs with cheese and share with the dogs which they both love.

I had a dog that LOVED raw potatoes. I accidentally dropped one when she was a puppy and she picked it up, took off with it, and had eaten half of it. Maybe it's just this city (I live in Louisville, too).

Veggies are good for dogs, carrot sticks, green beans, cucumber slices, or zucchini slices are all very good.

Being approved for your injection certainly is good news! Our dogs love green beans especially if they are frozen. Dogs are funny when they want something you're eating aren't they

Yes, it is wonderful! I had it done on the 13th and I feel so much better now. Yes, they are funny. I really need to video Daisy when she is sitting and begging for veggies.

Bananas are Daisy's favorite but we can't give them any to her that often because of the sugar in the bananas.

I have never heard or seen dogs who have veggies. The dog in my house also has meat. This dog is really very strange.
