Do we invite spirits into our lives through the materials we view.?

I am a strong believer that what we watch ..from TV, movies , through our surroundings , and or what we view has a very strong effect on the very way we see life . I also believe that spirits can be invited into our lives through these same things. I wonder am I alone in this ideal or is there others out here with supporting Ideals that feel the same way .

Yes i am.sure we invite spirit from tv lol. Just think we are watching some cookery shows, we will feel to eat right. Just think we are watching a travelogue we will feel to go right lol

I think the same way. A scripture that come to mind is James 4:7 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV) 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
If we would watch violent, immoral and demonic movies, we would not be resisting the devil but inviting him instead.

Most agreed ...I have seen in my life the power of demonic forces .. I have set front seat at church while watching the results of the disobedience of fueling the spiritual forces in our lives . We all surely are created by God and permitted to have our own free will .We are all welcome to choose our sins yet we will not be permitted to choose our punishment or repercussions of them . I believe that the things that we watch and pay attention to feed the very spirits that try hard to attack us on a daily ..Thank you very much Felix for your comments .

One of my friends was disturbed by spirits, and she got the advice to pray to God, by using his personal name Jehovah. She also got rid of all things that had to do with occultism.
She got free.. but we all need to continue avoiding many movies and other things that have to do with the evil spirits.
The true God can protect us if we follow his advice in the Bible.. I get so much good advice from our website jw.org.. and the meetings in Kingdom Hall..

I do believe we can invite spirits or something in our homes and minds through tv, movies, reading material or anything that can give us information.
