old days

One rainy afternoon, I was walking on the overpass when I saw a bunch of kids sliding down the slippery walkway. Their smiles reminded me of my childhood where there was no stress, problems and responsibilities in the world While kids in this era are spending majority of there time in front of there laptops or cellphones. Seeing reminded me of a time that a “childhood” still existed. Where technology hasn’t taken over majority of our childhood. Seeing those kids reminded me of my own childhood. Where my friends and I would run and ride our bicycles in the rain, sometimes when they weren’t around I would just play in my sandbox or eating my favorite bag of chips. No matter how old we are, we still strive to keep that childhood innocence inside of us. Whether if it’s keeping a certain item or eating your favorite childhood snacks, that brings us back to the good old days. What reminds you of your own childhood ?

You are right. Those cassette days were much more easier and breezier. Technology has taken over friendships and things that matter. What reminds me of my childhood will be children's laughter, screaming moms because of how naughty we were as kids as well as the smell of food cooked by my late grandma. May God bless her soul.

Yes, the carefree times of childhood but worries started creeping in soon. Overall I was lucky as I was never short of love. And my mother had time for me with no cellphones, gadgets to come in the way. In fact, not even a land phone for some years, also TV! siva
