Birthday Celebration

It was just my older son and myself. Sorry, I didn't think about the camera until the meal was over. So no pictures of the delectable meal I made for us. It was also just the two of us as his girlfriend wasn't feeling too well today and spent the time bonding with her mother. So dinner, which I assumed correctly yesterday would be the only meal for today, was prime rib steak, large baked potato, and my zucchini combination with onions, bella mushrooms, and small tomatoes. I sliced up two zucchinis for us. That was all I could eat, and not even all of what I put on my plate. I also had a cup of milk. He took his cake home, and mine is still sitting on the table in the kitchen. I don't know if I'm going to have it today as I'm still stuffed from this one and only meal. My son was in ecstasy over the meal. His taste buds were in heaven. So were mine. After he left, I tried to get on the computer, but with that kind of meal, I was falling asleep, so it was nap time. An hour and a half later and I finished my meal, and I'm still stuffed even from that. Now I'm interacting. It did rain today. It was raining when I got up. No surprise there. The surprise comes when the sun shines for a full day and there isn't a cloud to darken our skies and threaten rain. That was my Sunday celebration. I have no idea when I'm going to eat my slice of cake and the chocolate ice cream will no doubt stay as is in the freezer for a while. I might indulge on my birthday next week. Thanks for reading.
