~House Hunting Begins~

Hey everyone. I hope your having a great day so far.
I had a productive morning. I got dishes done, took out the trash, took the cans to the curb, wiped the counters and stove, cleaned off my dresser and the babies are happy and settled. =)
I got an email this morning about a home for rent. It's 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms-2,000 sq ft with a fenced yard. It needs some work that my husband can do like painting and a new carpet. It's on the water! It will be around $950 per month, which is less than we are paying now. We are going to look at it within the next few days. Hopefully it works out!
There's another house that we need to look at also. 4 bedroom but only 1 bathroom. It's $975 per month. It has a big fenced yard and a sunroom.
Hopefully the first house works out, prayers please!!

@DianneN That's the one we want! I hope so too. Any work it needs my husband can do so that's the good thing. The beach is a couple blocks away which is cool with me! =)

It sounds like the one on the water is an exciting prospect for you guys. I would not want one with only one bathroom.

Yes pay has a difference , in the end it does balance out

@infatuatedbby It would be the beach that we are very close to. =) We could swim in it if we want to. It's about 2 blocks away, or we could cut through the neighbors yard but we won't do that. Lol

THe first house sounds awesome. It is plenty big an on he water too! Have you considered arent to own option? That way you will be working toward something.

@LovingMyBabies I see what you are saying but there is a certain security in knowing that you own something, and not being at the mercy of someone else. Maybe if you like the house..and it works out maybe down the road you might be able to work something out with the owner. Good Luck!

Our credit would never allow us to rent to own.
It's fine though, I like not having everything be our responsibility when things go wrong.

THe house you mentioned sounds like there would be a lot of room. Any trees? Shade is nice too.

Both sound really nice, but i do like the sound of a 2nd bathroom! Lol. I'm sure you guys can use it with 7 people.

I feel like the first option is way better, cheaper and also the fact that there are 2 bathrooms. Since your kids are getting older, having 2 bathrooms is a must. I remember growing up and 5 of us had to share 1 bathroom because we couldn't use my step mom's bathroom. It was not good haha

Woow!!! How exciting. I just bought my house here in California. I wish it was that much a month. I'm paying 2200 and I berly got a backyard. It's 3bed 2.5 bath. The kitchen is pretty big though
