Do You Like To Cook?

I love to eat but I do not like to cook. I also love to eat out at good restaurants when I can. I am grateful that there are people that enjoy cooking and that I know people like that so that I can enjoy their cooking. I am fine with washing dishes or helping to clean up in some way as a way to contribute or maybe to help cook once in awhile or help serve. My mom is a good cook and I could have learned if I wanted to and I have had girlfriends and have a girlfriend who can cook and have wanted to teach me but I have no desire. My dad used to tease me about it when I was younger saying what would my future husband do and I said I will marry a chef. My ex-husband could cook somewhat and my girlfriend is a great cook and went to cooking school though her health issues kept her from finishing and she did well too. My girlfriend's grandmother and aunt are great cooks as well and her aunt has worked as a chef. What do others think?

I enjoy cooking and this is one of my hobbies. I find it very hapy if my family likes my new dish. I also like to challenge to try to cook something new. I also like watching cooking TV programs and reading cooking books so that I will have new inspirations to cook.

Congratulations! It took me 3 more years to graduate as well. Some things take time indeed.

@MGjhaud It took me many years mainly going part time and with several years off in between while life happened.

I love good food too and congratulations on wanting to learn to cook and successfully doing so even if it took awhile. I did not graduate with my Bachelor's degree until this past May at 38. We both accomplished something no matter how long it took.

I don't love cooking , but I cook for my own tummy sake. I like simple dishes which can be prepared within minutes.

I understand and I like food that is quick and easy to make and I love microwaveable food and food that can be made in a toaster oven. Those things fit into my busy lifestyle.

I don't know how to cook. It was never my interest. I love to wash the dishes though.

Washing dishes is one chore I can physically do and tolerate. Do you like to eat?

I love to cook. I like the feeling of cooking for someone and they will appreciate your cooking also. If they won't like my cooking, I still have time for improvement.

One of my hobbies is cooking.I think I'm the family's chef.I prefer to cook for myself than eat out. The only time I might eat is when I'm sick and I decide to take fast food
