In director Carl Reiner's 1979 comedy, The Jerk, Navin R. Johnson (Steve Martin) is a dimwitted white man who was adopted and raised by a poor black family. One night, rhythm-challenged Navin discovers "white music" on the radio, and is finally able to dance in rhythm. This inspires Navin to hit the road to find other things of which he was unaware existed. Eventually, Navin accidentally invents a way to keep eyeglasses from slipping, which makes him rich beyond his wildest dreams, and lands him pretty Marie (Bernadette Peters.) But can the newlywed couple handle Navin's new found wealth? Prior to hitting the jackpot, Navin has quite an adventure. While working at a gas station, a man (M. Emmet Walsh,) who has randomly picked Navin's name out of the phonebook, tries to kill our hero. Navin soon joins up with a traveling carnival, after which he finds himself in a sexual relationship with an aggressive motorcycle daredevil (Catlin Adams.) The Jerk is, if I may say so, hilarious. It turned Steve Martin into a star, kick starting a lengthy film career for the then-standup comic. In addition to Peters, the movie features fine performances from Jackie Mason as Navin's gas station boss, Mabel King as Navin's adoptive mom, and Carl Reiner as himself. The film is rated R due to occasional profanity (namely the name of Navin's dog,) and sexual references. I think it's one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, and I've seen a LOT of funny films. I mean, what's not to like about a movie that has a character named Iron Balls McGinty! (Info verified by Wikipedia)

@teamfreak16 Might just be me. I didn't mind the man with two brains, but could be that Kathleen Turner was in that one!
