churches to start paying taxes in south africa

with lots of things happening in south africa churches lately, seems the government vs church battle is imminent with government insisting that churches have been comemrcialized hence, they must pay taxes.

That seems like a strange thing though I have never thought about churches paying taxes.

I would think that it is a step in the right direction because all religious places have become money making, donation seeking centers. Their income is huge and keeps growing.
