I am tired of getting meaningless comments so if you are the type who likes making them I will not hesitate to delete them and unfollow. So just remember I don't post stupid comments on your posts so please return the favor and just don't comment. Thanks very much.

I agree with you. I say to my grandkids: If you don´t find something nice or interesting to say, keep your mouth shut!

@lookatdesktop I try to teach them outdated manners. Like modulating and speaking not too fast if they will talk to me. Otherwise, I just don´t understand.

This is showing good discipline. Without discipline, no respect leads to a breakdown in communication. I can think of many examples of this but will just leave it at that. Thanks for your input.

On one of my recent posts I received a comment that was longer than any discussion I have ever posted here. It was very informative as well and it seems that the member who wrote it was really interested in the topic. However , I don't know how I would have handled ten comments that length.

That can be a bit too much at times. But not as bad as two taking over the conversation and not interacting with the writer of a post. You know that happens, right? I mean, it can get annoying. But maybe if the post does encourage others to add their two seconds of fame to the mix, that might generate a few extra cents to your bank, I guess.

I had written on another site where comments tend to downgrade my articles. This site is meant to have interaction and commentary. But some sites were so full of bad comments that they actually made the poster look bad or make them angry enough to leave the site for good.

I hope I don't make meaningless comments. I usually put thought and time into anything I have to say here or anywhere else. There are times I get in a rush but that's not often.

I know you don't do this. I was just in the mood to rant a bit. I am now over it. All Smiles now.

@lookatdesktop Well that's good. We all have our rant moments-I just had one a few moments ago and I don't feel like smiling at the moment... Maybe next month I will smile again, who knows.

Shall I say that I also have received some blase responses to discussions as well? Yes to say the least I shall say it. I do know that you are not one of those who has left a blase response on any of my discussions.

Of course I try to be meaningful with my comments, otherwise what is the point? The ones I am calling on the carpet at this moment know who they are because I try to be thoughtful with everyone and when I get a blase response it burns me up. I ain't got time to fool around here. I want to make it clear to those who take writing posts is some kind of joke when all those who dig deep to find meaningful subjects to discuss here it tends to cheapen the mix.

@TiarasOceanView , yes and it is showing a lack of good taste and does cause a person to think about throwing in the towel.

@lookatdesktop For someone not seasoned, yes it could cause that to happen..not good. And to the point of no return.

I am sorry but I had to laugh at you! , you sounds so mad. I do not get any duh`s but I would delete those too, no I wouldnt I would smart them yo in a way never heard before on mylot. I get other smart mouth remarks and yes I do not say I am deleting but I do, I got one on my blog the other day. I had made peach jelly and the comment went like this " Sure that sounds good if those peaches was not sprayed with poison" At first I joked back and said " its okay I am used to fruit with poison' but then I just deleted both, she was trying to ruin my blog and the recipes I had listed. I hope you get better comments, or I will have to come over and write a book each time.

Why would you delete comments? They earn you money.
