It was my first time to reach the place although it is just an hour plane ride from our place, Legazpi City.
On July 04, I received an order stating that I am one of the participants for a training in Cebu, Philippines. My officemate posted it on the group chat box where every one of the employees could see. However, after an hour, she told me that my name was removed and instead somebody will take my place. I said it's okay, even though I know I feel sad about it.
When I was traveling home from work, I received a message that I will be the one to go as per advised by the assistant regional director. Though I wanted to ask what happened to the sudden changes in the decisions of the upper management, I kept silent and immediately booked a flight when I reached home.
It was a remarkable experience! We visited several historical places of the place before coming home.

Hi @allen0187! Actually, we stayed at the training hall most of the time. It was a training related to Peace and Order monitoring. But we were able to visit some historical places just before we leave Cebu. Thank you for dropping by.

@allen0187 As a DILG local government officer, we are a member of the Municipal Peace and Order Council. We are in charge of monitoring of the plans and programs of the Local Government Unit regarding peace and order. Enforcement of the law is the job of the PNP. With regards to our travel to Cebu, ee visited several places like Tops Lookout, Magellan's Cross, Temple of Lea, Taosim Temple and Fort San Pedro.

@Fishmomma: You are right. It was really a great experience. It was the first time I reached that place and I enjoyed visiting historical places. Although the time was short and of course the next time I want to travel with my family. Thank you for dropping by!

@Shavkat: Yes, that's true. I am really planning to visit several places but as of now, I am concentrating on the completion of a certain project. It so happened that the training was conducted in another place so I had a chance to visit the place. It is a good experience. Thank you for dropping by.

@mackoy85: We haven't fully explored the place. We only roamed around the City and we did not have enough time to go around Mactan where the airport is located. Perhaps on our next visit. Thank you for dropping by.
