Well, a few of my discussions have been swooshed lately...
I am getting an idea of why this is happening...but I should keep mum about this, I guess
Well, that is not what I want to know.
What I really want to know is that do you get paid for deleted discussions? I hope not. 
Does anyone know anything about this?

@shikharava Wop! "Wop", usually sounding as if it is being said by exactly 100,000 people at exactly the same time, according to the book The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. When "wop" is declared, someone or something somewhere is about to get really, really, annoyingly frustrated. "Wop!" is a good noise for the sound of a post being deleted...

@pgntwo yeah 'wop' would be so much better. I'll use it if my further discussions get deleted...erm I mean 'wopped'

If a discussion has no responses or is deleted before the earnings program's hourly update, you will earn nothing from it. If earnings from any responses to a discussion had been recorded before it was deleted, then those earnings are not removed.
If you want to understand why some of your discussions have been deleted (and to avoid having discussions deleted in future), make sure that you read and follow the Community Guidelines and the Frequently Asked Questions.
It is also worth reading any "Administrative Advisements" and other posts by GoAskAlice, especially this one:

You will not. At first you will get paid then once the discussions got removed. Your eaening will be deducted. If you notice as to why your eaenings reduced. They rather want quality of the post aside fron quantity. They need to do it or some might just going to post like a spammer here in mylot.

Are you writing inappropriate posts? Plagiarizing?
Your bank will tell you your earnings......if they drop when your discussion is deleted.....then you are not paid for the delete discussions.
